These are tours of 2 to 5 days, with departure from Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj and Timisoara. Complete information about our predefined tours can be found on our site under the especially dedicated section.
 
If you have already done the predefined tours, if you have already seen these places or if you wish to see sights different from those which we have prepared for you on www.tourofromania.com, we can establish together the tour duration and the area or areas you want to visit, and set up and organize such a private tour for your group.
 
Tour of Romania is willing to offer advice and information in the field of tourism, trips or holidays you want to make in Romania. If you do not want to participate in a tour (route) available on www.tourofromania.com or if you do not wish Tour of Romania to organize a private tour for you, we can help with information or advice in choosing the desired trip or sights you want to visit, even if you buy these services from another provider..


2. What is a tour?
 
A tour is a trip lasting at least 1 day involving the travel of a people group by vehicles adapted to transport persons and having as main purpose the visiting of tourist sights and spending the time within a group of people organized by a tour guide/organizer.


3. How can I book a tour?
 
You can book one or more places within a tour by sending an e-mail to the address tourofromania@yahoo.com, by phone contact of one of our representatives at the phone number on the website or by filling in the booking form under the dedicated section.


4. Can www.tourofromania.com organize or customize a private tour for me or my group, other than those mentioned on the website?
 
Yes, we can organize any tour you want with the observance of your requests to visit certain sights, which are not on the current www.tourofromania.com website. All details of the tour and the price will be discussed and agreed with one of our representatives.


5. Can I cancel/change a reservation within a tour?
 
Yes, a reservation can be cancelled or modified in the following situations:
 
- any time before the advance payment of the reserved service. In these circumstances, between the parties (the www.tourofromania.com website and its user) there is no material debt.
- between the advance payment time and the payment of the difference up to the full amount of the reserved service, but not less than fourteen (14) calendar days before the date of the start of the service for which the advance was paid. In these conditions, the user may choose between receiving back the equivalent of the advance paid to the www.tourofromania.com representatives or using this advance to book other service offered on the www.tourofromania.com website.
- after the moment of full payment of the reserved service if the cancellation/change is made more than 14 (fourteen) calendar days before the start of the booked service (tour); the user may choose between receiving back the advance paid to the www.tourofromania.com representatives or using this amount to book other service offered on the www.tourofromania.com website. If the cancellation/change is made with less than 14 (fourteen) calendar days before the start of the booked service (tour), the user cannot receive the equivalent of the service paid to the www.tourofromania.com representatives.
 
In case of fortuitous events that can occur by part of our customers the equivalent of the paid amounts by Tour of Romania customers can be refunded in full. For such process, you should contact the www.tourofromania.com representatives at the contact dates provided on the www.tourofromania.com website.
 

6. What are the modalities of payment for a reservation within a tour?
 
- payment in our acoount opened with Banca Transilvania bank (RO16BTRLEURCRT0080853401 - EURO)
- payment through our partners network Fresh Travel International SRL (Str. Prof. Ion Bogdan, nr. 19, Sector 1,Bucuresti, Romania) or in the account opened with Banca Transilvania bank (RO11BTRLEURCRT0205365601 - EURO) or at their workstations using the payment modalities provided by them.


7. In what time interval must I pay for a reservation within a tour?
 
Payment for reservations or services presented on the www.tourofromania.com website is subject to the following terms:
- an advance payment in the amount of at least 30% of the reserved services value is made within a maximum term of three (3) calendar days from the date of booking confirmation by the www.tourofromania.com website representatives, but not less than 21 (twenty-one) calendar days remained till the start of the booked service/tour (day 1 of the tour).
- payment of the difference up to the full payment of the reserved services (amounting maximum 70% of the reserved services value) is made in a term of maximum fourteen (14) calendar days remained till the start of the booked service/tour (day 1 of the tour).
 

8. How to calculate the cost of service for a child?
 
The cost for children who participate in the tours presented on www.tourofromania.com is calculated based on the children’s age and how they will accommodate during the tour: in the same room with parents/parent or in another room than parents/parent.
 
Children aged between 0 - 2 years and 11 months (completed) will benefit of 100% discount on accommodation and food services. However, they will pay the full cost of the bus transportation.
 
Children aged between 3 - 12 years and 11 months (completed) who will sleep in the same room with parents/parent will receive 30% discount on accommodation and food services. However, they will pay the full cost of the bus transportation.
 
Children aged between 3 - 12 years and 11 months (completed) who will sleep in another room than parents/parent will pay the full price of the services (accommodation, meals, transport).

Children older than 13 years (completed) will pay the full price of the services (accommodation, meals, transport).
 
Any other situation different from those described above should be discussed and agreed in detail with the www.tourofromania.com representatives.


9. If I wish, may I sleep alone in the room during the tour? (Single room)
 
Yes, in case you participate alone in one of our tours and do not accept the proposal to sleep in a room with another person, where this possibility exists you can choose the option to sleep single in a room. The accommodation in single room implies an additional amount payment, as compared to the package presented on the website. The extra charge will be communicated by the www.touroformania.com representative and will be agreed together with you in order to complete the booking.
 

10. How are calculated the prices displayed for the tours presented on the website?
 
Prices for the presented tours on the www.tourofromania.com website are calculated for a group of 14-16 persons (this being mentioned in the "Price" section of each tour), taking into account all services included and presented in the "package content" section of each tour. If the maximum number of persons for which the tour price is calculated, is not reached, you have the following options:
- you may give up the booked tour, following to receive back the equivalent value of paid services, complying with the cancellation policy presented in the "Trade Policies";
- you can choose to perform the tour, with the mention that the service price will change mainly due to transportation cost.
Of course, you will be notified in due time about these changes so that, together with www.tourofromania.com representatives, you can take the best decision for you.


11. Must I be in excellent physical form to participate in a tour?
 
The www.tourofromania.com tours are designed so as to offer a great comfort throughout their course. Yet, it is still good to take into consideration that tours involving the walking on mountain roads or view of tourist attractions found in nature require in some cases to walk, on relatively small distances (several hundred meters).
