Malancrav Fortified Church

The Church with three naves and a bell tower was built in the early 14^th century by Gregor, the son of Nikolaus. The real treasure of the church in Malancrav is its mural painting, being the best-preserved ensemble of linear-narrative Gothic painting of the 14^th century. Its iconography is focused mainly on the life of Jesus, but, at the same time, it glorifies the Virgin Mary, to whom the church was dedicated.
