Octavian Goga Mansion

Octavian Goga mansion is situated in the village Ciucea and it is the place of the poet’s residence, but also the place where he is buried. Nowadays the mansion is a museum, where in the building salons there could be found old furniture, a piano, decorative pieces and paintings of Tonitza, Grigorescu, Luchian or Pallady, which can be admired. The library containing thousands of the poet’s books is impressive. In the last period of his life, Octavian Goga remained in Ciucea mansion, where he died in 1937.
