Crystal Cave from Farcu

Crystal Cave from Farcu Mine is located in the central-southern area of the Mountains Padurea Craiului, on the territory of Rosia commune. Crystal Cave from Farcu Mine was discovered in 1987, once the work front of the Farcu mining gallery advanced. The cave has a length of 251 m and a height of 16 m. It is the first arrangement of the mine-cave type in Romania and among the few ones in the world. Two sectors, the tourist and speleological-tourist ones, are arranged in the cave.
